Re: Toasted Marshmallows Anyone and my Seeburg V200 TSR3 Power Transformer.

Hey Ron, that makes perfect sense.... I will bet that the trip solenoid failed And shorted out the tranny cause that's the position the mech was in when all the smoke cleared out of the room. I will check It, replace it if necessary and add a 1 amp fuse at the hot end.... Another great tip to rememb...

Re: Toasted Marshmallows Anyone and my Seeburg V200 TSR3 Power Transformer.

Hi Ron, I Am running one of Vern Schmitt's FreePlay Adapters... "I doubt any Resistor in the TES caused this problem, unless you are operating it on "Free Play" " ? I like that idea of splitting off the power from the 5 amp main fuse to the transformer with a 2.5 slo blo in serie...

Toasted Marshmallows Anyone and my Seeburg V200 TSR3 Power Transformer.

While listening to my V200 last night my daughter said she smelt marshmallows burning…. Several seconds later we noticed smoke bellowing out of the back of my V200…. I don’t remember if it was still playing at the time but I immediately ran over to the machine and unplugged it. I then pulled the bac...

Re: Seeburg 200LU Library Unit

Hi Ron, Wow.... I had always thought that the Seeburg Library Units had the same mechanics as the Hideaway Units until I just saw the following youtube video of a working LU. Completely different..... Those LU's are a really cool... I think I am going to have to get one for my personal collection no...

Re: Seeburg HF100G stuck mech

The reversing switch is found beneath the mechanism cover in the front of the mech. It's a brown wafer looking switch that is triggered at each end of the mechanisms travel by a little adjustable metal pawl on the carriage frame... One pawl on each end of the carriage that when the mechanism hits it...

Re: Seeburg HF100G stuck mech

Try turning the power off and then trip the record manually and then manually trip
the mechanism reversing switch and then manually rotate the mechanism motor coupling by hand until the mech is in the center of the record magazine ex. A5 and then turn the power back on and see what happens

Re: Rockola Electronics

Hi Ron... Thanks for the additional info..., I did not know about the Johnson furniture company... Interesting.... While doing some research on them, I found this website that shows the actual building where they manufactured the jukebox cabinets. http://www.furniturecityhistory.org/article/3645

Re: Rockola Electronics

Re: Testing a 3WA wallbox

Hi Ron, I hear ya.... That's how I feel about my Mechs.... With the Mechs, I usually remove them from the machine and degrease them really good before I attempt any mechanical adjustments... More often then not most adjustments are right on or really close to where they need to be. I have been buyin...

Re: Testing a 3WA wallbox

Hi Rob, thanks for the update.... Boy they certainly didn't make these leaf switches very accessible for adjustment did they when they designed this equipment. I was talking about the leafs directly behind the wafer, I had cleaned them and thought I adjusted them when I put that spring back on with ...

Testing a 3WA wallbox

Hi, I'm about to start tearing into my v 3WA wallbox. Upon initial inspection, it's missing about a dozen screws and the contact blades are completey black from all the dirt. The Button assembly is loose and the return spring for the lever that snaps the standby, credit and run switches is just hang...

Hi Rob I would never question your experience in this matter as we all know that you and Ron are the heartbeats of this forum and without your knowledge and experience this forum would not exist. I can only attest to what I was specifically looking for during my re-assembly and could not see... Whic...
