Re: seeburg lpc-1 vs ss160 control centers

Thanks Ron, Great info, I'll make note of these...I had decided to go ahead and give the SCC-3 a go at troubleshooting..totally re-capped the unit...found 150k resistor was open..Both 1 meg resistors at the voltage doubler were way out tolerance and replace those as well, and while at it I also repl...

Re: seeburg lpc-1 vs ss160 control centers

Thanks Ron,
Yes, the question was whether the control center from a LPC-1 could be used on a SS160.

Seeburg S-100 dual rectifier Question

Hello everyone, I am presently working on a SAM1 amplifier off a Seeburg S-100 and have encountered an issue with a dual selenium rectifier CR5105 (Seeburg part number 309440) and need to replace it but have not been able to locate any information on this part. In this particular amp although it is ...

Wurlitzer Mechanism Motor 2600 and earlier (50's)

Does anyone know of any alternative right-angle motor that will work? I have been searching for the specs for this motor for a while now without any luck..All I know is that it is a 28VDC reversible..Do not know the RPM's, torque etc. Perhaps someone knows of an armature that would work..The problem...

Re: Seeburg SHP-1 Amp Driver Board questions

Ron, Thanks for your reply. Yes, jumpers are in place. Already there when I got the Amp. The burnt resistors looked like carbon 1/2W though. Resistors I used are radio shack 1W metal oxide (raised 1/4 inch off the board). I live in a small town and RS is as good as it gets. If necessary, I plan to o...

Seeburg SHP-1 Amp Driver Board questions

Perhaps someone would be able to enlighten me. Hopefully I just finished repairing an SHP-1 amplifier with an early verion Driver Board (319295-A) which had the common problems on the right Channel (burnt R75 and R76...fried Q16..and damaged Q17 and Q18) I recapped it, checked for off value resistor...

Re: ERRORS known in printed material

Regarding the SHP Amp Book....There is also an error in the numbering on the photo on page 42--The two chassis mounted caps are numbered in reverse for the SHP-3--"outside" one is C-66. (admin note): Use caution here, as some production runs used a metal anchor for the outboard cap, in whi...

Re: Rockola AMP replacement Transistors

Hello Tasha,
Have you had any luck in finding replacement transistors? I am on the same boat, My family has been in the jukebox repair business for many, many years and someone has misplaced the cross reference booklet that we had.

Best regards,

Tonily
