That one looks a little different. The 440 has an opening in the middle at the bottom where you peak down to see the selection playing. The 440 has a black border and then some grey blocks inside of that. It also has the selections stenciled on the glass like to one shown. Maybe I'll take a picture ...

Did you check the connector to the selection pc board? It hangs straight down just below the magazine and may come loose when the machine is moved. Also, you may have to clean the selection pc board and the contacts. I had both problems on my 460.
