Did you test for continuity of each channel while moving the arm through it's normal travel. It is fairly common for a wire to break off at the 7-pin socket, but breaks in the cable itself also happen and may not show up when the arm is in only one position. Another problem point is the edge connec...
Here's an example of what I am up against. In process of painting the cabinet so the yellowing really, really stands out on the bottom of the title strip holder. I am not looking for perfect but something that may lighten it up a bit.
So I have run into a new problem. I am getting no sound besides hum/buzz from the speakers. It was working and then mid-song it happened. It did start working again but then mid song again the sound cuts out and BUZZZZ!! I am guessing something with the amp/pre-amp. I haven't looked into anything ye...
Any opinions on the best way to remove this if it is at all even possible? I have read to stay away from chemicals but soap and water doesnt do the trick.
One small victory! I put everything back together and included the "burnt out" solenoid just for kicks. It all works perfectly. The buttons push in and then pop out after selection and I can hear the latch bar/solenoid working. Apparently the solenoid was not completely shot and seems to b...

Thanks for the info. Here is a picture of the solenoid I am replacing and where it sits on the selector assembly housing. My question is what would be right under the solenoid? Does the solenoid connect to anything? Whatever attaches there I am missing. Pictures in the main service manual do me no g...
So if you happen to read my other post you know I burned up a solenoid from the Selector Assembly and am replacing it. In the meantime I ripped the whole Selector Assembly out and wanted to clean it up and make sure it is working properly. I included a picture to show you what I am up against. Any w...
My apologies. My name is Nick and I am in Massachusetts. So started disassembling my jukebox to give it a good thorough cleaning. Starting from the top down, I removed everything in the top part of the cabinet. Figure this will give me some reference when reading the manual as to how everything is c...
Ok the more I read the more I think it may have been dumb question about the solenoid being connected to the coin collector somehow but I guess I was asking if there would be anything connected to the solenoid besides the two wires coming off of it ?? Figure 4-3 on page 4-28 of the manual shows a st...
