Looking for latch for suitcase record changer..Admiral..66/67

I picked up a suitcase Admiral player model YH1421 I'm looking for a latch piece or pieces for the lid on this player. No clue what it looks like or original part numbers. If anyone has a parts graveyard or knows someone who parts out players? Even good photos of the parts, if someone else owns this...

Re: Distorted sound. 1950 RCA RP-190 45rpm player

Wasn't that much effort and I enjoy working on things like this. The cam wheel repair works flawlessly. I just took a gamble and tried the same repair on the drive wheel. I was prepared for disappointment but I hadn't yet replaced the cartridge so it appeared to be successful at first. I cleaned and...

Distorted sound. 1950 RCA RP-190 45rpm player

I just rebuilt a 45 player as stated in subject line. Mechanically was working perfect. I coated the changer cam with plastidip. The motor drive wheel rubber was kind of hardened so I decided to also coat those wheels with the plastidip. I figured if it worked I had nothing to lose. Well I tested it...

Re: Silvertone radio/phono model 7056 1941. Tone arm rest ne

Did find several images on bing but none showing the tone rest.
Ill just make something that functions regardless of originality.
I need something to keep the needle from getting damaged.

Re: No sound from phono, help

Ok I fixed a wiring issue. I had electrolytic caps grounded wrong.
Now I have some sound from the phono but only with volume cranked all the way up. Radio works normally.

Re: No sound from phono, help

It's not the original cartridge. It's already been replaced.
I tested and had sound when rubbing my finger across the needle area.
Now I have nothing and also nothing when touching wires coming out of back of cartridge.

Re: RCA CONSOLE VJT-50W -where can I get part?

Sounds like a wear item. Any idea if there are replacement parts out there for this or should I maybe try cramming some felt in the hole?

RCA CONSOLE VJT-50W -where can I get part?

I have an RCA Victor Victrola New Vista console. Plays great but have a question about the needle cartridge area. As far as I can tell from research, there should be some sort of foam or brush piece sticking out the front bottom of the tone arm in front of the needle? The cartridge seems secure. It ...
