Sorry to be a pain. You wouldnt have a picture of that would you? So i get the right bit. The brass bit. Ive spent hours today looking for the problem. I cant find anything. All looks like brand new all great connetctions. Its starting to drive me mad

Forgot to say. What you say core stop. Which bit is that exactly. I have compared everything to my dads working unit and i cant see anything missing

Thank you for the reply. It seems to be in perfect order but still blows the fuse. Ive been over everything. All i can put it down to is that the chap that rebuilt it has wired something wrong? As everything looks spot on.

Hi sorry the wsr5-l6 unit is blowing the slo blow fuse. Ive changed it as had another wsr5-l6 unit and blows slo blow fuse also. Im guessing the selector assembly is not right? As its doing it with everything unplugged. Book says to use a 2a fuse

Just to add. With everything unplugged it still blows the fuse when i make a selection also i put the old unit in and made a selection and it blew the fuse in that. Key pad maybe?

Your right blown fuse. I put a new one in and it blew it the second i selected. Whats causing that? I unplugged the pinbank plug and tried again and it blew it again

that's interesting ill have a look when I get home, I did put a fuse in it and it fits tight. if the fuse is making a good contact and not blown could it be the wrong size fuse making a problem

hi it wont select from the buttons if I flick a pin by hand it plays that record. Hi i have a seeburg m100b. Ive fitted a rebuilt stepper unit and gone through the selection buttons. If you select a record it makes all the right noises and buttons work but it wont fire a pin. If i flick a pin by hand it will play that record. Im totally stuck as everything seems alright. Any idea...
