Re: Seeburg fusing

Hi Ron,

I have a Seeburg C with a MRA1-L6 amp (I think from a model B) with a WSR5-L6 Selection Receiver.

What extra fuse protection do you recommend?

Re: wurlitzer 1050 problems

Corey, I also live in Australia and the large holed records from the USA cost a fortune in shipping costs. I bought a dinking tool and use it for records to put in my Wurly 1700 and Seeburg C. These jukes have no option and must use the larger holed records. The dinker works fine, I just take my tim...

Re: AMi Continental

Hi, The problem appears to be resolved. To provide an update... I checked what I could, but was unable to find a problem (but I have only limited electronics experience). As I live in Australia, jukebox technicians are not available, so I contacted a guitar amp technician who did some repair work fo...

Re: How to install new cartridge in a Wurlitzer

Rob,

I guess a magnetic cartridge and tweeter would be a difficult job to install in a 1700?

Re: Wurlitzer 3020 Wallbox

Thanks Guys....... It is working. I took on your advice and watched what was happening. The stepper arm appeared a little sluggish so I spent time 'panel beating' it to ensure a good contact. It was a little bent (not much). I also removed the new capacitor and resistor (that I had installed) and re...

Re: Wurlitzer 3020 Wallbox

Hi, I have not replaced the Electrolytic capacitor in the stepper because I have not been able to find one the correct size. The manual says...... "Condenser, Electrolytic, 80 MFD, +100 or -10% 100 W.V." (I think it means + or - 10%) The closest I can find is Electrolytic Capacitor 100uF, ...

Re: Wurlitzer 3020 Wallbox

Ron, Thanks for the reply. I thought the same, so I adjusted the wafer as far as possible. It has an eccentric cam stop which I moved so far one way it played a different record. But it still played 2 selections. I moved it all the way the other way with the same results. I know there is something I...

Wurlitzer 3020 Wallbox

Hi, I have been repairing a Wurlitzer 219 stepper and 3020 wallbox for my 1100 jukebox. I am very pleased with the results and the wallbox selects the correct record every time. However, (about 50% of the time) it also selects the record immediately prior to my selection. ie: if I select record #6, ...

Re: Wurlitzer 218 Terminal Box

Hi,

As an update, I rewired the Terminal box as required, and

it works fine.

Yes, I got lucky. I would never have worked out the correct wiring without the diagram.

Thanks

Re: Wurlitzer 218 Terminal Box

Hi Ron,

I contacted Bill and he sent me the information straight away.

He is a champion.

I should be able to put the wiring back together correctly now!

I appreciate your advice and Bill's assistance.

Kind Regards

Wurlitzer 218 Terminal Box

Hi, Does anyone know where I can obtain a schematic or wiring diagram for a Wurlitzer 218 Terminal Box? As it is only a connection box, with no moving parts, I cannot find one in the wallbox or stepper manual (of this era). I am trying to connect a 3031 wallbox to an 1100 Wurlitzer, but someone has ...

AMi Continental

Hi, I have an AMi Continenal (1) with a mono amp. After about 30 minutes play, if I play a song with a lot of bass, it gets very bassy with blurred sound. I assume capacitors may be out of range? Would I be correct? The amp was recapped a few years back. Any ideas where I might look first? Kind Rega...

Re: Connecting a Wallbox to my Wurlitzer 1100

Doing a bit more research I found an interesting brochure that helps explain which wall box and stepper combination work together.

www.jukeboxhistory.info/WurliTzer/PDF/W ... -1080A.pdf

This may help for future reference.
