WTB Zenith T-O G500 Volume/On-Off Switch

I am starting my first restoration of a radio (was all jukeboxes before). I have a G500 (chassis 5G40) Zenith Trans-Oceanic Radio. In looking over the components, I found I am in need of the Volume On/Off Switch I am looking for: IRC 76-2 (switch) and IRC Q11-137 (1M Audio Control) OR Zenith 63-2037...

Re: Motor Capacitor equivalents

Ron, I'm not sure what model. It is a seeburg mech (clutch etc) but it has 2 motors. It looks like a 50 records (100 selection), I just found part of the juke, and just wanted to play with it.

Motor Capacitor equivalents

The run capacitor for my jukebox is shot. It is a 1.2uf (non standard today) - The local orange box store sells replacements for fans that are above the 230 voltage listed on the cap, and is 1.2uf. Can I substitute this type of cap for the original? Can I substitute a standard bi-axial (non-polarize...

Re: DEC3 Service Manual -- available anywhere?

OK, I promise Ron.

Whats worse -- I got the manual from Always Jukin a year ago! I must have mispacked it when I moved. :?

Double bad. Can I blame it on the stress of the holidays?

DEC3 Service Manual -- available anywhere?

I am looking for a manual for a Seeburg DEC3 Consolette - or at least the schematic.
I couldnt find it from the usual sources, does anyone know where I can get one, or an AMR number?

Re: National Rejectors Slug Rejector Help Needed

OK, I think I got it so I can finish. You guys are correct about the screw, I put that in as dimes were getting stuck, and it was easier to lift the screw to get the scavenger away. It was not screwed in enough to move the scavenger away from the frame. I did not move the spring around a full twist,...

Re: National Rejectors Slug Rejector Help Needed

I think the spring on the dime scavenger may be weak.
I will try putting an extra "wrap" on the spring, and see what happens - if it dont get broke
(but hey, there aint no magic smoke to release)

Re: National Rejectors Slug Rejector Help Needed

Ken, Do you know what model this is, where I can get manual? Do you mean the red plastic by the white arrow. The yellow line is the path I can see the dime drop to the rejects https://www.dropbox.com/s/esyrusp4n7mt30q/RedDime.jpg?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/esyrusp4n7mt30q/RedDime.jpg?dl=0 https:...

Re: National Rejectors Slug Rejector Help Needed

I will try BRASSO after I complete my EXTREMELY HOT WATER cleaning.

I am about to work with simple green now, and then a few rinses. 8)

Re: National Rejectors Slug Rejector Help Needed

Ron,

I didn't take a picture after I moved that lever.
I will try to clean again tomorrow with the "Extremely Hot Water", and see if that helps.

National Rejectors Slug Rejector Help Needed

I have a National Rejectors Slug Rejector that works EXCEPT it rejects all dimes. . I don't know if the numbers on the label have any meaning/ I looked through a bunch of my Seeburg Manuals, and National manual, and can't find anything that looks like this rejector. Can someone ID this rejector, or ...

Rockola 1422 "O" Amplifier

I just recapped my "O" amplifier, and did a voltage reading on the power transformer I am reading 120.7 across the primary (mains) to the transformer. I see two major problems: 0 Volts across the red wires from the transformer. 10 Volts across the green-black wires. Transformer PH3685-5 Al...
