Re: Looking for new project - Suggestions

I have a couple of spare TSA10 amps that need redone, but haven't gotten to them yet. Also have a couple of SHP3 amps and some DCC's. Oh, I'll get to them one day, just not right now. Five grandkids keep us pretty busy. Good luck on your projects, I have always enjoyed the challenge.

Re: Looking for new project - Suggestions

I own the USC1, USC2 and STD3 and they are all in the same room and are nice looking machines. The USC2 (Firestar) was my very first jukebox. Ron and the guys here and on the yahoo board really helped me along in getting my machines up to working condition. I had no prior experience with solid state...

Re: Wurlitzer 553 Amp

Ron, we are using it in a 7500 console unit, but it also is used in the 3600/3700 series. Thanks

Wurlitzer 553 Amp

Does anyone know of someone who still repairs/recaps this type of amp? Bill Bickers stopped working on them. Or, does anyone have a good, working 553 Amp they would like to sell?

Re: Wurlitzer 3700 Carousel not moving after selection

I have a 7500 machine, that has similar "guts" in it as your 3700 does. I had a similar problem and found that re-seating the connectors that plug into the carousel was my problem. One of them wasn't making good enough contact for the carousel to commence turning, so re-seating the connect...

Re: Wurlitzer Carnegie sound issue

Weird, but I hadn't touched the machine in a few weeks, then decided to turn it back on the other day. The sound was back and we played it for a good 2 hours. Turned it back on the next day, problem had returned (no sound, just a slight thud sound when song starts). The day it decided to work, It wa...

Wurlitzer Carnegie sound issue

I have a Wurlitzer Carnegie CD juke that, until just recently, was playing fine. The mechanics of the machine are working perfectly, but I can't get any sound. When the CD is placed on the player and it ultimately starts the song to play, you only get a slight "thud" sound and then no volu...

Re: Wurlitzer 7500 Jukebox bo/ac

I made a jumper plug (with guidance from Ron) for my 7500 to do just that, put mine on free play full time. The jumper plug would be on the control box, so the normal cable from the BO/AC to the control box would either be missing or simply disconnected. Mine has a red plug.

Re: Wurlitzer 7500 Jukebox

Norman, just saw this on eBay. This is the manual you want to buy for your machine. I have this manual and it is extremely helpful.

Norman, I'm not all that far from you. I see you are in VA. I'm in Charleston, WV. See the info boxes to the right of the posts, it will show you where people are from. Just let me know if you have any questions or need a part. Thanks - Bill

Re: Wurlitzer 7500 Jukebox

I have two 7500 machines (one works, one doesn't) and most of the guts from a third 7500 machine. If you need parts, let me know, I may have what you need. BTW - the manual that you need is the 3600 manual. It has a blue and white cover. Don't buy any of the copies or knock-off manuals which claim t...

Re: Wurlitzer Superstar Model 3600 - Need help

I have a 7500 console model and it has the same "guts" as the 3600 does. Did you actually see this machine work before transporting it back to your place? If so, what may have happened (happened with mine), was that the several connectors that plug into the control box and into various oth...

Opinions on Wurlitzer Carnegie CD juke

I have the opportunity to purchase a Wurlitzer Carnegie CD jukebox (from 1988-91) at a very good price (to me anyway). I have only become familiar with record-playing jukes, so this would be my first CD juke. The owner tells me that he can't get it to select tunes from the selector buttons, but the ...

Re: wurlitzer 3610 freeplay?

The bottom "mechanism" you speak of is the pin bank. When you make a selection, the pin for that particular selection pops up. You can also gently push these pins up by hand to manually select. The top component that holds the records is commonly called the "carousel". So, it sou...
