Where to buy TT rubber pads (45 size)

The rubber edge on the Rock-Ola 425 I'm working on has been worn pretty smooth - where's the best source for replacement pads/edges/whatever? Thanks!

Re: Rock-Ola 425 mystery parts?

Thanks! I should be able to cobble something similar together that resembles that.

Re: Rock-Ola 425 mystery parts?

I've experimented with ways it could attach to that part (the part attached to the long spring...I know, "not using actual part name") but haven't figured it out yet, and am getting tired or smacking my head on the underside of the lid (that little framed "window" that allows peo...

Re: Can someone post a pic of Rockola 425 (or sim) meter/cou

I have the service manual from Victory Glass. It shows exploded views of the gripper assembly, detailed pics of the selection wheel on the left, but the only pic showing a meter like this was for a wallbox accessory. Even the larger pics of the inside of the cabinet, only vaguely refers to it. I rea...

Re: Rock-Ola 425 mystery parts?

This is the meter I'm referring to (not the pop meter in front). Is there any sorta linkage that attaches to this?

Here's the meter I'm referring to (not the pop meter in the front) - is there any sort of linkage to the little part on the right?

Re: Rock-Ola 425 mystery parts?

Dave, Not sure--but I think, both are "shipping blocks", used by the factory, when new-- Ron Rich Yep - I can totally see that. It's a perfect fit under each of the four corners (where the heavy shock/springs are). I take it, it shipped with four and this one just happened to fall inside ...

Can someone post a pic of Rockola 425 (or sim) meter/counter

Trying to figure out how the play meter/counter (at the back, behind the turn table) is tripped. There's a nub sticking out on the right side, and I can manually advance it one, but don't see how it is tripped when a selection is played. Thanks

Re: Rock-Ola 425 mystery parts?

Another mystery piece (couldn't find it in the service manual). Was loose in the bottom of the cab.

Rock-Ola 425 mystery parts?

Any idea what these two are? They were in the bottom of the cabinet, loose.

Re: Rock-Ola 425 gripper motor - rebuild?

Question: after I finish cleaning and re-lubing the motor, what is the order/sequence that these washers go on? There are four brass, one steel (the same size as the brass ones), a slightly larger metal on (a bit concave) and a fiber one that appears to have a faint scoring where the larger metal wa...

Re: Rock-Ola 425 gripper motor - rebuild?

Am I correct in assuming that there should just be the two brushes (near the screw holes on either side near the bottom)? A third (mostly a third spring, what little bit was at the end of the spring would not have made an effective brush...it was just rattling around inside near the bottom). Cleanin...

Re: Rock-Ola 425 gripper motor - rebuild?

OK, so I got the motor out, and out fell 4 brass washers, 1 steel washer, and 1 washer of some fiber type material. Also, curiously, in addition to the two brushes & springs on either side in the bottom, a third spring (with about 1mm of a brush left) fell out (a spare from a previous repair?) H...
