Re: Wurlitzer 1450

Clones, I think Ron's price is wayyyyyyyyyy to cheap ! I worked on a few of these with George Wagner years ago. He has worked on Wurlitzer since the mid 40's . He said they didn't run well even when they we're new . Why do you think Frank Hamwey (who is probably one of the best Wurlitzer mech re bui...

Re: WURLITZER 800 help !

Thanks for the input Ron . Sometimes I think I must be outta my mind to take on projects like this ! LoL But the machine is so nice you just wanna bring it back to life ! The guy that owns it told me he got it from his dad before he passed away and that it was restored by someone in Pennsylvania . I...

WURLITZER 800 help !

A guy brought me a beautiful restored 800 that is locked up with a record almost all the way up into play position and won't go any further . The fiber gear is stripped so it won't go any further. I've backed the turntable down almost to the bottom position by turning the motor by hand ,then it is s...

Re: Help wiht light bulb

Kent, The ones I have are 24v-21w-ba15 .They work well. But I think Ron probably has the right idea about running 2 -12v in a series .These blubs should last a long time . I'd be careful when working with these wires not to short out anything because they are on the same circuit as the 24v opto sens...

Re: Help wiht light bulb

I've got a few of those and I'm only about 15 to 20 miles west of you ! If you have the one more time Cd it actually takes 2 of these. One for the star and one for the bottom arch. One goes out the other doesn't light either...replace both at the same time because the other will probably go soon ! I...

Re: wulitzer OMT 1015 45's

James... If a fuse is blown....which is probably the case (4amp)(or whatever it calls for ) .Replace it only with a 4 amp NO MORE !!!! Have some one turn the box on watch and see if fuse blows and or turns red ! If so you probably have a dead short. I had the same problem on a OMT cd box a year or t...

Re: AMI continental

Ron, Thanks for your quick response !!! I don't have a parts book on a Continental,it been many moons since I poked my head inside one too.I'm thinking you're right about this .I think the 1st 1100 series mech came about in 1963, the year after the continental .I've got several manuals on Ami's from...

Re: What to offer for Seeburg CD juke, non-working

That's about 150.00 more than I would give for it LOL But..... when these are working properly they sound FANTASTIC !!! If it we're mine I would convert it over to a hard drive or flash drive kit from cdadapter !
