Good news. After poring over it for hours, I found that the problem was a stuck clutch. After degreasing said clutch, the mechanism began to play records like nothing had ever happened. Burnishing contacts 3M1 and some others with 600-grit sandpaper also seemed to improve smoothness. What is the rec...

I have read up on the service manual, and I placed the entire combined magazine and select-o-matic unit on an adjacent table for easy access. I have reconnected all the necessary cables and powered on the unit, and once again tried a selection. What I saw was that the trip relay would activate and s...

The "does not respond to song inputs" needs a better description--are you able to operate the TES, Does the Mechanism scan, or is it just failing to detent ? By that I mean that when you press a song to be played, the relays will click and act like they normally do, but the mechanism does...
