I'm referring to the side that faces the records (where the detent switch, etc are.) Of course I've pulled the rear access panel off . I have the pins pulled out and the mech/magazine/tmu etc partially slide out of the front.
I'm sure this is a dumb question... How to you get access to the front of the mech (facing the back of the magazine) to lube, clean, test, the bits-and-pieces on that side of the mech? Remove the magazine? Remove the mech from the track? Shrink yourself to a really tiny size and get down in there?
Can I add one piece to get clarification on with this topic?
Just because all the selection numbers light up as the mech scans up and down does not [necessarily] mean both leafs are hitting the read-in and write-out contacts on the TMU - correct?
The #2 lamp staying lit, indicates a blown driver inside the DTP-1. That problem is usually the result of the incorrect lamp being inserted in that socket--and the resistor is probably bad now also--check ALL lamps as per my Trouble Shooting Guide. Unless you know how to use "static protection...
I'm still working the 'scan twice - no detent' problem. One thing I've noticed that has remained constant is that the '2' light is always light no matter what. When I select a record or just start the mech - the 2 is always lit. I never see the 1 light up for my selection. I'll see the numbers light...
i didn't grind them - just a quick brushing. Apparently, I've done everything that the microlog manual says NOT to do - like unplug the keypad while the juke is one, pulled the credit programming card while the juke was on, etc. This was all before I got the troubleshooting guide ;) So, right now, I...
So - like - being one of those people who jump right into something without reading the entire list of instructions I'd like to ask if I hosed my Tormat... When cleaning my USC2 (just sucking out hair, mouse droppings, spider webs, wiping down stuff, etc) I noticed that everything in the interior wa...
I've thought about that too. One of the guys on the KLOV jukebox forum was thinking of doing the same thing (Level42) I think I saw you on that thread as well. I think one of the issues with inserting a gel lining is that the front glass has a pattern and (it appears) the defuser panel also has a pa...

Both of those are present - I'll post a picture shortly
Is there something missing in the panels on this juke? Maybe my bulbs are too bright? I can't imagine it being the bulbs because mine looks LESS bright than all the other pictures I've seen (mine looks down right dim.)
