Yeah, really strange as well!Sadly I don't think the choxolate records survived. But at least they made wax and cardboard ones as well!

Yes, the Berliner Doll was manfactured by Kammer & Reinhardt, hence the similarities between her talking mechanism and the Berliner toy Phonograph. The "French Talking doll" is called Bebe Phonographe and was made by Jumeau. Her mechanism was made by Loriet.

Wow, the Berliner toy Gramophone looks a lot like the mechanism for the Kammer & Reinhardt Talking Doll! I wonder if it can play her records.....
