I'm glad you liked it. It's a fiberglass resin impregnated rice paper diaphragm with a polystyrene stiffener, like the one I use in my Edison Disc, sized to fit the #2. I guess, Ron, the sliding whistle reminds you of Spike Jones? It sounds excellent--mellow, quite a bit of the lower register comes through, and hardly any surface noise. Joe Thanks. I've been putting quite a lot of time into coming up with something that would at least match what's already out there.

Spike Jones was born it 1911. This disc dates from the late teens.
