Re: Seeburg audio problem with TSU-1 Amp board

Ok, I just looked on google again and found another TSA1 board that does not have the two mid sized transformers in the lower left hand side of the amp board. Those are the chokes you mentioned before? Mine has two. This new photo I found of this similar amp board Also has a black coated heat shrink...

Re: Seeburg audio problem with TSU-1 Amp board

I want to say no but I do not know what a Monolizer looks like. If you can just discribe where it would be and what it looks like I can check tonight. Re: Seeburg audio problem with TSU-1 Amp board

Me again with a correction. The Amp board in this LPC1 is NOT a TSU1 but a TSA-1. Different beast. I had someone suggest I swap out the preamp transistors. The ECG102A's , I did and it just got worse. So I am stuck. Does anyone think it could be four power amp transistors? Stuck.

I have done all the obvious solutions to fix this problem. All new capacitors and verified it is not the spea...

Re: SEEBURG LPC1 Mechanism problem, Need help.

IT WORKS!!! I put the spring pin back in the way I thought it should go and I then checked the big block resistor in front. It was good, but I cleaned the connection to where it goes to chassis. Then I tried it and it works!!! You are correct that it only picks up records from left to right not righ...

Re: SEEBURG LPC1 Mechanism problem, Need help.

The more I think about it the more this makes sense and I feel a glimer of hope. It works one way but not the other. It doesn't look damaged or badly worn and I have set everything(clutches and all adjustments) the best I can. Mechanically the clutch engaging member does seem designed to align its' ...
