My order of 60619-1s showed up yesterday. Tried a loose one on a complimentary male in the juke, and it fits like a glove. Looking at the new ones, they are not nearly as large on the inside diameter as the installed ones. These things must have taken a heck of a beating to become that enlarged. Jus...
Ron, Maybe this will help. Here is the 60619-1 page from TE's site - http://www.te.com/catalog/pn/en/60619-1. Here is a PDF of all the categories - http://www.te.com/commerce/DocumentDelivery/DDEController?Action=showdoc&DocId=Specification+Or+Standard%7F408-7300%7FE%7Fpdf%7FEnglish%7FENG_SS_408...
Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. It appears (I'm not 100% until I acquire and try some) that the *stock* female (or SKT as TE calls it) is 60619-1, and the male (pin) is 60620-1. A spec. sheet from TE's site can be viewed here - http://www.te.com/commerce/DocumentDelivery/DDEController...
I was looking through some earlier Rockola parts catalogs today, and they actually show the ball bearings. The Rockola # is ST-1214 and the size is .156". If you need a pic of the parts explosion, send me a PM. Incidentally, two different parts catalogs show two different assy. numbers for the ...
I have a question. I know that Rockola uses AMP (Tyco) brand crimp connectors for the interconnect harness wiring. I believe Seeburg uses AMP too. My question is does anyone know the part numbers or just the size of the crimp connectors? I come from a Molex world, and these things *look* like .084&q...
Yeah, I did bathe the unit several times in the ammonia solution. I even tried hitting it with a toothbrush. I just think this one was too fouled to put a dent in it. Getting the second one back together was not nearly as bad as the first. When the first one was not going back together too well, I d...
Just a follow up. I finally had the opportunity to take out the selection "keyboard". While the ammonia and hot water "bath" did an excellent job of removing the cigarette tar off the unit, the switches did not completely get clean. I tested continuity on the circuits which are c...
Thanks for the tip, Ron! I never even gave ammonia a thought, but why not? It's the typical ingredient in most chrome / brass / multi-metal polishes. My only concern may be that the "wash" could wick in between the wire and insulation, causing potential corrosion down the road. Thoughts? A...
I just signed up for this group, and find there is a vast wealth of knowledge here. I am new to jukes, but not exactly new to tech forums. I have been a member of the Usenet group rec.games.pinball (RGP) for years (handle is Gott Lieb? there), and try to contribute where I can. I have been looking f...
