Re: Seeburg Pickering gold cartridge 45 rpm

Thanks Rob. I will check the cart when it arrives to see if the stylus can be removed. The phonogragh now has a red cartridge, which according to the manual, would be the wrong cartridge for the preamp that is in the machine. I have the PA2-L6 which should have the normal black cart. The 245789 cart...

Re: Neuses N-10 spring tension gauge

Got the manual and you are right, there was a picture of the same gram gauge and easy to follow instructions.

Re: Seeburg Pickering gold cartridge 45 rpm

The manual states that "There are three pickip types, two of which have replaceable styluses or armature assemblies." "Stylusus for the number 245789 cartridge ....." uses sapphire styluses only. Part number 245795. "This cartridge is associated with Type PA2-L6 preamplifier...

Seeburg Pickering gold cartridge 45 rpm

Just curious if anyone has ever used a Seeburg gold cartridge? I just picked up a Seeburg 200c-1 or 2 and I thought that it originally had a gold cartridge. Mine has the red head cartridge. So I bought a gold cartridge from a collector and ordered a manual for the phonograph. In the manual it states...

Stylus/ needle

I never had a record player fancy enough to call the needle a stylus, but thats just the newbie pouring out of me. I have a question....what is better sapphire or diamond needles? My guess is diamond but the needles I have bought for my Seeburg 100 A has always been sapphire. What would be the best ...

Re: Neuses N-10 spring tension gauge

Thanks for the advice. I ordered a manual for the Seeburg Library Unit and haven't received it yet. That should help with the values. I ordered one of the pk n-10's and I guess I'll just figure it out. Not sure if I push it, pull it, etc. I can't find anything on the net or Youtube. I ended up buyin...

Neuses N-10 spring tension gauge

I have read many post on using the PK N-10 spring tensioning gauge to adjust the tracking on the Seeburg jukeboxes. I was wondering how to use it. I read that you have the record in a playing position(non spining) and then what do you do? What would the ideal tracking be for a Seeburg library consol...

Re: Seeburg 100A 300 uf cap replacement

Well I was able to finish the selector last weekend and I put everything back together, plugged in the wall box, and everything worked great. I was excited to see the wall box and jukebox playing the songs that I picked. Success!!!! Now I have a Seeburg 200C-1, that I found on Craigslist, to work on.

Seeburg 100A 300 uf cap replacement

Hello, My name is Larry and I am new to this web site. I found you guys when I was looking up information on a Capacitor through Google. I read the post and the one question , which is basically what I'm looking for, wasn't quite answered. It kind of drifted off on a tangent as topics sometimes do. ...
