Himmmmmmmm, I thought LED's lasted"forever"--that's what I read on the internet !!--and you know that anything there, HASTABE true !! Ron Rich I'm afraid the LED's in this Jukebox were sitting in an Irish pub, powered on since 1978 failure was inevitable :D However it's IR receivers that'...

Will keep that in mind thanks... I'm waiting on IR diodes LD242 to replace in the coin reader and carriage position wheel. Should then be in a position to test how it functions, hopefully :)

Re: Nsm ES 160 Festival carriage moving from Left to Right but not selecting?

Your correct, that was the pay display, silly me, brain freeze under pressure :) I changed the -5V & +5V LED and soldered some tired looking joints.... Not 100% sure to be honest, might be intermittent fault... I inspected the coin IR diodes and some of then are blown and one fell apart in my ha...

Re: Nsm ES 160 Festival Transistor heat-sink insolation or ground?

Now... In answer to my own question :D

The both 'middle' pairs of transistors screwed vertically and horizontally to the heat-sink don't require Mica Sheet Insulators
only Heat sink compound is needed... However if unsure, a safe bet is to put Mica Sheet Insulators on all...
See Pic as reference....

How to remove the Paint Graphic from NSM Festival ES 160 front window

Hi folks, this worked for me ON MY Perspex, It might not work for all... *So, please test an inconspicuous area before going full on, to ensure the perspex won't cloud. I used Cellulose thinners (from Halfords Ireland / UK) This very easily removed the Photo paint image from the plastic front withou...
