Re: 1965 lpc 480

Hey Ron. I helped the turntable into a spin and it released. It scanned down and picked up 2 records that were in the same sleve and started playing. I hit the rejected button and pulled the records out. Now the problem is it scans up and down but wont pull a record, Dan

Re: 1965 lpc 480

Thanks Ron. Gave it a try no luck just a lot of buzzing noise. I did notice on the tormat control center that there are 2 terminals that read GND record return with nothing hooked to them. Ran a ground wire to one of the terminals that the screw was loose thinking there once was a ground wire there....

Re: 1965 lpc 480

Hey guys thanks for all your help, as you can tell I am new at this. The question I have now, is that I followed the wiring from the reject switch to the amp, and notice that one wire went to a terminal labeled WHT. and the other wire to a ground labeled BLK, leaving a terminal labeled BRN open. Hey Ron. I am getting audio when I touch the needle. But I also noticed a wood screw fell out of one of the units. Which I dont think it is supposed to be there. Just wondering if it was being used to hold something into Place. Thanks Dan

Thanks for getting back with me Rich. Tried the reject button nothing doing but a buzzing sound. The fuse I replaced was the 6.25 ceramic fuse for I guess it would be called the power box. But I replaced it with the same kind that was previous in there. All the tubes seemed to be working. They feel ...
