Thanks Ron. Board is fried. I called victory glass and they don't have anymore. Bummer. Now I know why I got it so cheap. Do I have any options? Can the pc boards be rebuilt/repaired? Do you know of anyone who sells them used (already tried bay and craigslist)? Can they be fabricated? Thx, dr Jeck

Shameless plug for Pinball Paul's (Paul Howlett). I've been fooling with my Rockola 445 for 8 months and had a couple of issues that I could not fix. It's the gripper motor. The nylon gear inside the motor is stripped causing the motor to seize up.

Ron. Replaced the fuse, and unjammed the motor. As soon as I flip to operate, it jams again. It seems like the motor doesn't know when to stop. In other words, it seems like if the motor were moving in the other direction (ie taking a record out rather than putting one back in), it would be okay. Dave

Little knob sounds better. I'm talking about the little knob on the bottom of the gripper motor that you can turn in order to manually move the gripper arm up and down.

My 445 was working beautifully, but every so often it would pick up a record incorrectly. So, I followed the instructions in the manual and adjusted the position of the gripper arm. This didn't help. I am replacing the 16 ohm tweeters in my rockola. I can go down to best buy and pick up 8 ohm speakers, no problem. I would have to order 16 ohm, 6 x 9 tweeters. Is there a significant difference in sound quality/volume between 8 and 16 ohm? Thanks, drjeck
