There is one labeled "Receiver" that fits your description. It's located on the same unit as the accumulator. here is what it looks like. It appears to have one of the wires cut. A yellow one to be exact.

I would agree. However, I have to rotate the motor counter clockwise to get to that point. No1 switch is in the groove. If I rotate clockwise, as the manual states, the gripper arm raises as if picking up a record before what I presume to be a jam occurs.
