Re: Seeburg Coin troubleshoot / record rack adjustment

Okay thanks will do. I will check out the clutch as well. The only thing I cringe at with regards to the clutch is that it appears the only way you can really get to that is by taking the entire record rack off. (no thanks been there done that) unless I really have to I won't. I have read/ seen on y...

Seeburg Coin troubleshoot / record rack adjustment

Hey Ron, Back again with a series of questions regarding the coin mech and the record rack on a Seeburg "C" This time with a question about credit counts and how to adjust them. I was wondering what the count is supposed to be for each coin. Currently it is 5 for a quarter, 2 for a dime an...

Re: Seeburg pin bank trouble shooting

Well Ron, Wouldn't you know it. the pin was bent in the slightest bit. I carefully took a small flat head and put a little pressure on the pin in the play position and everything works! It's still not 100 percent centered on the contact but I can't imagine all of them are 100 percent perfect. Thanks...

Re: Seeburg pin bank trouble shooting

Hey Ron, Sorry for the confusion but i am attaching a picture from the maunal that I think will give you an idea of what I am talking about. If you look at the diagram attached you will see the center line which centers the pins between the left and right contacts. This center line has been establis...

Re: Seeburg pin bank trouble shooting

Hey Ron, So I did some fishing through the service manual and I came across one of the issues and that was the contact block which was out of alignment with the pin bank which can cause problems. The manual tells you to get the mech into the A1 play position and have the A2 pin in the selected posit...

Re: Seeburg pin bank trouble shooting

I'll check but from what you've told me about the shiny and dull side my hunch is that it is backwards :)

Re: Seeburg pin bank trouble shooting

Ron, Last time I was inside the pin bank was when I was 8 years old with my father at the helm. Vividly remember it to this day. The frog which I gather is the two white plastic headed metal pieces on the contact block. They both look fine. No signs of wear. The pin that is giving me trouble will no...

Re: Seeburg pin bank trouble shooting

Hey Ron What do you mean by installing it "backwards"? It looks like the pins are all interchangeable. What does the white sensor look like?

Re: Seeburg pin bank trouble shooting

Thanks all for the help on the attachment, If I take the upper wooden panel off the back of the jukebox and select the K10 pin with my screw driver the mech will start to scan. once it reaches the pin while scanning the odd side it will actually hit the k10 pin in a little bit. Once the mech relays ...

Seeburg pin bank trouble shooting

Hello, I am new to this forum. I am having some issues with my Seeburg M100C mechanism skipping past selections despite them registering properly in the pin bank through the selection receiver. Push buttons work fine... It will just make a clicking noise as it scans by it, cycle around once more and...
