SEEBURG LPC-1 Right Side Relay Problem

Hi All,

If anyone is out there that can assist this will be greatly appreciated!

I recently recapped a TCC-1 for my LPC-1, and when I hooked it back up it ran beautifully...until it was time to select a B-side. When a B-side is selected, the mech will stop at the appropriate spot, but play the A-side repeatedly. Before I recapped the TCC-1 (which is a new unit from eBay) the LPC was playing both A and B sides correctly, which leads me to believe that the mech is still working properly. Now looking at the Tormat during operation, I see the Right Side Relay (on the left) is energized, but it is not releasing the switch.

Any ideas on how to get it to release?

Dan

Dan,
Do you have a Service Manual ? Please use terms in it to describe things--
I don't understand how you can look at the "Tormat" and see a relay ?? It has no moving parts ??
I assume you mean the Tormat Control Center (TCC). That being the case, I don't understand what you are calling"the switch, that is not being released " ?

Ron,

My apologies. Yes I referring to the TCC...the "switch not being released" would be the contacts on the right side relay. The relay energizes pulling the contacts together, but the contacts remain engaged...they do not release and return to their normal state.

Dan,
Clean relay contacts as above, Clean RSR,LSR,RR contacts on mech, be SURE mech plug on TCC is tight, with no "pin' sticking out on either the plug or socket. Then adjust the RSR,LSR, RR contacts according to the Service Manual, or my "Seeburg Mechanism Guide"(PM me if you need/wish to purchase a copy).
