seeburg lpc-1 very slow speed

I have a seeburg LPC-1 turntable motor running at very slow speed, sometimes the speed may increase to normal for a short while then slows down again . The motor is ok anybody have any ideas please ?

Geoff,
If the relay in the 45TASU-1 is energized while it's slow, you probably have internal problems in that unit. If the relay is not energized, you have poorly adjusted switches on the mechanism. If it is the unit, and you want, contact me off list, as I do rebuild them to factory specs., using a factory "strain" tester to check them. ronnnrich@yahoo.com Ron Rich
