This is the acoustic gramophone forum, so I guess you are looking for a diagram for a spring-wound motor? If so, I can point you to a few sites with online user's manuals for various Victrolas, Grafonolas, Edison phonographs, etc. Most contain oiling diagrams.

BTW, I moved your post about the antique radio to the "Antique Radios" forum.

dang it - every time I try to walk and chew gum I screw something up. . . .
guess I should mention that the motor is on a Victrola VV-300 (2 spring style).

Sorry about posting the radio on the wrong board -
running on no sleep last night,
and it's beginning to show . . .

Well, you basically have the schematic on the motor-board, itself. That same illustration would appear in the owner's manual. Here's the one for the VV-300 -- http://www.nipperhead.com/old/vic300.htm (Click on the thumbnail images to make them full size for viewing/printing.)

What would be of more use, if you're thinking of servicing the motor, would be "The Compleat Talking Machine," by Eric Reiss. (That's the way "complete" is spelled in the title, btw.) The book is full of illustrations and provides step by step instructions for most repairs, including cleaning and re-greasing the mainsprings. It's available at most well stocked book sellers for around $30, such as http://www.amazon.com/Compleat-Talking- ... 1886606226

To get you started, if you haven't already seen them, there are a number of YouTube videos that show various repairs, and provide servicing tips.

Go to YouTube and, in the search box, type one of the following:

Victrola motor repair

OR

Gramophone motor repair

OR

phonograph repair mainsprings

OR

Victrola motor servicing

JDS,
The word "compleat" is correct ! It's probably the only "spelling word" I recall from long ago in the 4th grade. My Teacher was from England for that year, and she insisted that we change it in our workbooks. I usually spell it that way, but lately I have "caught a bit of
"stuff"" about it, so I have ALMOST given up-- This has given me new resolve----
