Stuck in mid-cycle

by Raven65 » Thu Aug 26, 2010 6:11 am

When I start up machine, gripper goes Over turntable which
Is spinning. Moving tonearm will not reverse operation.
I turn off, and bring back everything to home manually.
When press scan switch it also goes back to this exact position.
Like it's in the middle of a sequence. How do I reset this?
Thanks, raven

First, note the record number that it's stuck at. Next check that the write-in hammer has returned to it's rest position. Check that the read out hammer has returned to it's rest position, after having returned the pin to it's rest position. Check for a bent, or somehow "stuck" pin. Ron Rich

Working great. Some sound quality issues, but I haven't
Begun to address that yet. Thanks Ron, great advice!!
