looking for VV-50 Victrola motor spindles

by dave in new york » Mon Oct 15, 2007 6:13 pm

Hi folks,
I'm trying to locate some screw-on spindle tops used by VV-50 Victor Victrola motors. They are among the few motors that used a two-part spindle and I have three motors that are missing those top parts. Does anyone, by chance, know where I can find at least one or two?
Much thanks in advance.
dave

Check with Wyatts Musical Americana out in California or George Vollema at Great Lakes Antique Phonograph in Michigan.
Maybe they would have one. I know that they are hard to find, I has several of them back in the 1990's and sold em quick at $25.00 each. Hopefully you can find them and find them cheap I would say they should run maybe $25-50 each.

The machines are going for $200-$475 depending on condition.
