I've been working my way through this AMI hide-away, It has a model DD amplifier and the mech looks like a model E but the model number doesn't tell me much, HS-120.
I have all the separate chassis rebuilt/repaired and I'm ready to put it together and test it out but I cant figure out the wiring, as it was all taken loose before I got it. Having very little experience on early 50's AMI I'm not sure where to get this information.
I'm sure the regular Jukebox service manual wouldn't cover the hide-away's and although I could be mistaken I have never seen a reprint of a hide-away manual.
If anyone has a wiring diagram, description or any information that might help me I would be most pleased to hear about it.
I'm not sure why but this has become a fun project for me, usually I have no interest in hide-aways but this one came with a couple of wallboxes and an original AMI speaker, It will be a pretty neat garage/workshop music system!
If I ever get it wired!

Everything should be the same as in the jukebox, except you do not have pricing, nor selection abilities ? Ron Rich

For the major common components "same as a jukebox" would make sense. But this box has a small internal speaker and an internal volume control that appears to be only for this small speaker, this appears to be wired in series. Not sure how that's connected to amp. Also the stepper has a three screw terminal strip on the side for the wall box but does the step down transformer get connected there as well? The power supply also has a screw terminal strip. There are two wires coming from the step down transformer. It looks the same as later AMI's, I just can't remember where these are connected to.
Remote Volume control, reject button and speaker connections I can probably figure out myself.
Anyway, I'm sure you can see how a wiring diagram or info would be helpful to me. Mech, amp, power supply and stepper are all connected to each other as this was pretty easy to figure out.
