Gripper turnover Issue

by proxhack » Fri Dec 17, 2010 10:51 pm

Hello Everyone,

I need some help installing the Gripper turnover and release gear on a CD-8 rock-ola bubbler, the gear broke,I received the replacement, removed the old one, but can't figure out how to install it.

Any help will be very much appreciated.

Thank you very much!

When installing the gears, is there a guide on exactly the way each of the 2 gears should go?
How do I know which is the right way, are there any markings that I must follow?

Thank you very much!

There is not a mark or guide to use when reassembling the gripper mechanism. However, you should unmesh the gripper motor gear from the grippers drive gear so as not to bust a tooth on the drive gear if you haven't put it together properly. On top of that, you will be able to actuate the gripper by hand to ensure that the assembly is correct. Have you remove the entire gripper assembly from the mechanism?
