We have a small console from this company however the turntable is not operating. I do feel it vibrating but no movement. What could be wrong and can it be easily fixed or should this nice little packege be thrown in the dump? Thanks

Sounds like the turntable needs cleaned & lubricated. The idler wheel is probably hardened and needs cleaned, rebuilt or replaced. Not as much trouble as one may think but if you aren't mechanicly inclined hand it over to someone who is. I wouldn't trash it if the rest of it is in good condition. A picture of it would help in identifying it. Best, Thom

Look in the archives on this site for instructions on cleaning & lubrication. The idler is located under the platter which can be removed by prying off the retainer clip located at the base of the spindle.
