Speaker advise

Ok, one more question before go to work.

The orginal speaker for the rock-ola princess 1943 is a Jensen P12P. Should I get this speaker reconed or replace it with the new Jensen Vintage line. I think the new line of speakers is a P12Q. The cost is about the same either way and Jensen claims the new ones are built on vintage standards and sound. The old speaker (P12P) has a little surface rust on the stamped steel basket.

My concern it that the reconer will use an aftermarket reconing kit and I will never know the difference until it's too late.
