Hey, I'm new to the jukebox world, i have a few cocktail arcades but i bought a 1953 Ami Rowe E120jukebox and I need a little help with it.
First, when i moved it in, i plugged it in and it grabbed a record and started wanting to play it. Heres the thing, i taped the tonearm and turntable during the move and quickly rushed and moved the arm to remove the tape, and now its just spinning like it thinks its playing the record. The arm is locked so I can't move it to the spinning record. What can I do.

Second, I bought it knowing that only the first 30 or so songs work. Would that be a fuse or wiring problem on the other buttons?

Also if anyone knows where to get a service manual that would be great. I bought it dirty, but lights up and before it just spins now worked well, chain worked great, the sound was a little low but I think it has to do with the amount of dust and dirt on the speaker.

any help is greatly appreciated

thanks
Eddie

The only answer I can give you is to un-plug that phono, and leave it un-plugged ! If you have electro/mechanical skills, read the "informational stickies" posted above, purchase a service manual, read it, then proceed. If not, use the list to find some pro help.
You can, and may have done a lot of damage, real fast-- Ron Rich

A mechanical back part of the tonearm was somehow wedged and I guess causing the arm to lock, was able to fix that and then the record cancel button worked to stop the turntable and return the 45 carrousel arm. Now it works fine. Not as loud as it should be.
Next is cleaning. Then work on buttons selections that aren't working. Then coin operation.

I think I'm making up names for the different parts. I really need a manual.

Any help is appreciated

Check with Victory Glass - www.victoryglass.com - or Always Jukin' - www.alwaysjukin.com - for a service manual. Both can supply one.
Make sure to get the one for E80/E120 - not for E40 as this one would be for 78 pm records.
