Seeburg M100A Mechanism Adjustment

Hi All
The mechanism can raise up on the front and back side by 2 to 3 inches. The manual does not have any instructions how to make adjustments to prevent the mech from raising up. Maybe it was designed to be held down by the weight of the mech alone? I do not think this is true, because on the fromt right hand side there are two screws about 4 inches apart that spen the rail that the mech rides on. I am making a guess from the position of thse screws that at one point there was a piece of plastic/nylon that was attached by the two scews and has a notch that fit over the rail to guide the mech along the rail so the mech does not raise up? On the back side I cannot see any type of adjustment to secure the mech to the rail so it does not raise up on its own?
Any guidance on the proper adjustments to prevent the mech from raising up wil be appreciated.
Best
