This unit was working a number of years ago when we stored it. At this time, the turntable turns, all appropriate lights appear to be on. The "gripper" I think it's called is laying down aligned with the turntable, the playing arm is on the holder. I have turned it on an off a number of times, and used the "oper/scan/clear" swith to see if anything would happen. Nothing does. I have read on some of the other posts that there could be corrosion/dirt/ and a need for cleaning and lubing. Any guidance would greatly appreciated. Also this unit has an" opti ?? " something on the left of the magazine, as opposed to some of the other models I have seen which have similar equipment to the right of the turntable. Thanks!!

Hey!
1st of all start cleaning the gripper mech from all old grease and "waxed" oil.
Then re-lubricate useing plenty of SAE20 oil (I used motorcycle fork oil) while switching oper/scan/clear.
I did all that for my RO 470 and it worked out fine !
