Hello people,

I have removed 3 categories from the forum which haven't been running very well so far (in the old forum aswell): Needle tins, Reproducers and Books & Leaflets. Messages about these subjects can now be placed in the general topic: "The Collectors Lounge".

Ofcourse, if suddenly many postings about those subjects are placed, we'll probably add those categories again...

Why do you have to wait so long to post again when all you did was fix a spelling error?

This is a "flood interval" which helps protect against spammers. As is often with anti-spam protection, "normal users" sometimes also have some disadvantage from these filters. Apparantly modifying your own message is seen by phpBB as a new post aswell. Unfortunately I don't have a separate option to lower the time you have to wait before you can modify a message.

However, I have lowered the general time you have to wait until you can post again. I hope this helps.

If the forum is going to be flooded by spam I'll have to raise the time again ofcourse , but I'll wait and see first...
