Laurel & Hardy English Columbia 1932 DX-370

Do any of you know if positive or negative metal parts survive for these two masters? The recordings were superbly done, but I've never heard, or heard of a state of the art low noise pressing, either in vinyl or shellac. The two master #s are, according to Brian Rust CAX-6486 & 88, both take ones. Do any of you know who recorded on 6487? Other than supposition, do any surviving company memoranda indicate IF release was considered on USA Columbia, and why this did not occur? I drool over the thought of a minty laminated pressing! Were the sleeves that accompanied these disks generic, or were they specific to Laurel & Hardy? If the latter, what was their content?

Also, I'm equally curious about why Burns & Allen's "Dizzy" (DB-286) was not issued in the USA.

A tip of the derby and a tie twiddle to each of you!

I've read a transcript of Burns & Allen's "Dizzy" and it's bound to make you that way, too...
