AMI model E hideaway

So I've had more than my fair share of issues with my machines lately and just got back to work on this project.
I'm trying to get the mech to do something other than just sit and spin the turntable.
Question,
If I push one of the selector fingers should that make the mechanism start to scan or is that initiated somewhere else in the jukebox?
I can't even get it to scan with the scan button, the motor is good as it was tested and the DC voltage is present.
I'm really not familiar with this mech but getting more comfortable with it every week.
Thanks for any suggestions,
Mauro

Mauro, I have only one original manual AMI for that mech and it is for an F, but I used it to work on the E 120 I had in the late 80's. The mech is essentially the same.

Here are the functionals:

Rob,
Thanks very much!
Your pages are much easier to follow than my model E manual, probably because mine is not an original.
I'll trace this out on the juke and see if I can get it to scan or transfer a record.
I hooked up a wall box last night to see if it will help but the stepper didn't respond. It has also been recapped.
Looks like I have more to do than I bargained for.
Thanks again for uploading the pages,
Mauro

Forget this post rebooted computer and it works fine now.

Anyone have any idea why I can not view Rob's links? All I get is a screen with the below options?

Rob

Thank you. After I rebooted the computer the other links worked fine and I was able to print the schematics.
