WANTED: "Oh Happy Day" 45 or 78 rpm between 1952

by sta363 » Thu Apr 19, 2007 5:49 am

This song was a big hit both in US and other countries in 1952 and 1953 and was recorded later as well. It came out in early rock and roll style; doowop; 1940s big band sound; and by both male and female vocalists in solo efforts. It was put out in 78 rpm, 45 rpm and on some 33 rpm. I am NOT looking for the gospel song of the same name which was a hit later in the 1960s. If you have it, please contact me. Thanks.

Thanks for your timely response. I already have the version by Don Howard, but I am looking for other versions, if you come across them.
