I've gotten into the habit of thoroughly checking all packing materials whenever I unpack a shipped record changer or phonograph.You never know what you might find stuck to the packing tape or aming the popcorn and peanuts at the bottom of the box like some odd Cracker Jack prize.I have even found parts that were described in the auction listing as either broken or missing.Alas these are rare occasions because more often I seem to find hardened pieces of decayed motor mounts.
As I always look forward to testing a new acquisition,no motor mounts usually means that I cannot fully test the unit until they are replaced,which equals more waiting.It's like getting a new toy for Christmas and no batteries.Frustrating.
After consulting archives on the subject of motor mounts I began to wonder if anyone could suggest an interim solution that would allow me to operate a changer for testing and then order new mounts and all other needed parts at once.Perhaps a small box of assorted rubbers? Can you fabricate temporary mounts from clear silicone or rubberized caulk?They would take a day to cure but that's muck quicker than a FedEx shipment.Do I sound impatient?

I made motor mounts out of stacked grommets when I couldn't find the correct parts. Put a bolt through them, or use the existing stud to center them.
