Was This A Pooley Radio?

by Neophone » Sun Dec 31, 2006 12:10 pm

Folks,
Hello, I'm a denizen of the Acoustic Phonograph section of the Forum. I just bought, what I think to be, a home made phonograph in what may have been a radio cabinet possibly made by Pooley.

Does this look familiar to any of you?

The lid was originally hinged on the narrow side by the tonearm. The door in the "rear" opens up on the back of the horn, not much storage space in there.

I'd really like to find out what this was, before I tackle it. I've had no luck anywhere else. Thanks in advance for any help/info you can give me.

Regards,
J.
