Hi folks, First off thanks for having me. I'm 42 and always loved the 50's (especially after watching American Graffitti as a kid and listening to 50's music with my parents) I am lucky to have a job I enjoy and my wife does as well. We only have one child which allows us to "spoil" ourselves once in a while. I've had my eye on old jukeboxes as of late and finally jumped in when i saw one i liked. (1951 M100BL) Im enclosing pics and would appreciate any advice on "service/upkeep". The box is presently set for free play but i want to switch to the nickles, dimes and quarters mode for the entire experience. The "directions" are stapled on the side but it's all Greek to me. I live in Mass about 15 min. from Providence RI and would appreciate any links to people in that area who service old relics like this one. Thanks in advance and Keep Rockin' All!

Took me a bit to figure out how to attach pics. If you click above you can see my Jukebox. Pic 3 is of the coin mechanism (if you look closely you can see the black wire that bypasses the coin mech for free play. I would like to get the box on standard coin play but have no idea. I think pic 4 shows the direction which is pretty neat but doesn't do me any good. :(

Todd,
Welcome--
If it is "Greek to you", my best advise would be "keep out"-as one can unknowingly cost oneself many headaches, plus many $$$$$.
Look in the phone book under "jukebox", and / or "amusement devise" for someone in your area. You might contact John at jukeboxparts.com and as him if he knows anyone in the area, as he is in Orange, Mass--
Should you wish to DIY--see the announcements above showing where to find-- and purchase and read the books first--
