Hello all.
I'm a caretaker in a apt building. one of our tennants left a edison disc phonograph which is now mine. it has a cabinet on the botton that holds alot of records(it has 8 of them now). There is hardly a scuff on it, and the fabric where the horn is still in top notch shape. anyways the brass id tag on the side says c 19 sm-28066. Can anyone tell me about this. also can anyone tell me where i can get a crank for it.
thanks

That's a very nice machine! The C19 Chippendale was the top-of-the-line disc machine for Edison, through the early 20s anyway.

The crank is actually available on-line at the following site, almost 2/3 of the way down the page:

Have fun with that! It's a great phono.
