I have the following two pairs of new needles that came with my M100C and would like to know if either is suitable to use in an original redhead for playing both mono and stereo records. I have read many postings about compatibility of various cartridge/needle combinations for playing both mono and stereo records, but since I don't have the "gold standard" Pickering cartridge for my M100C, how would either of these sound in a redhead? Here is the information printed on each package:

Seeburg -one pair monaural, sapphire stylus, p/n 246797 (tip radius not specified. Is this 0.7 or 1 mil?)
This one has a straight shaft and blue plastic portion.

Replacement (manufactured in Switzerland) -pair, diamond needle, p/n 4726-D7/PR, tip radius 0.7 mil, replacement for Seeburg 246797
This one has an "L" shaped shaft and blue plastic portion.

The first one is the OEM version-1 mill needle for mono use only--
2nd is an aftermarket -- may or may not"work" as QA has been "lacking" on these for quit a while now--

Thanks Ron. I also have two original redheads for my "C". One measures 1.86k and one measures 1.70k ohms. Any significance between these measurements? Steve.
