Rockola-differant sound from identical amplifiers

Ok-so I have identical twin rockola legends 6000.
The amps are hooked up and set the equalizers same.The crossover network is same.
But for some reason,I have one box that has alot more bass,hence,sounds much better than it's brother.
Why would one amp have so much more bass than another of the exact kind and same setting/configuration?

Something's wrong with one of them, or else, they are not "identical".

Identical cartridges?
Identical speakers?

They are cd players with cdpros.
Rich- they both sound good,just one has more bass..What "could" be wrong? Output transistors differant ??Pre amp?
It's not a big deal,I was just wondering why the dif.PLus,if it was going to be a fairly small fix,I would fix the one that has the higher tone.Hmmm

If you "wonder enough", you might try "swapping parts"-- I have heard "identicle amps", that "sounded different" many times-- I think this is due to the fact that most all amps are made with items that have a wide range of "tolerance". Seeburg attempted to overcome this with a strict input selection test/requirements. That is the primary reason they used "house numbered" transistors/diodes, in all amps---I doubt that the "current RO co." does the same--Ron Rich
