NSM ES2 Carriage boards

by Andymann » Thu Apr 05, 2007 4:54 pm

Hi all I need Help I 'm having trouble repairing some NSM ES2 Carriage boards on two of these boards the motor won't reverse I have replaced the micro switches to eliminate them and no change.

on the other board the carriage will reverse about half way and switch back to forward so the carriage never makes it back to its rest
these are the later units that don't have the BS switch behind the casting
thanks in advance

Andy

hi
nsm problem-- the problem might be the relays on the control/power board give them a good clean with very very fine wet/dry plus make sure the points are closing correctly tom

Hello,
If your machine uses DC motors check for a pot. on the carriage board.
Run the carriage and turn the pot until it reverses direction.
If your machine uses AC motors check VR100 and VR101.
Hope this helps, Nathan
