EV 26 info needed.

by premier72 » Sat Sep 12, 2015 3:02 am

I just found a EV 26 cart in a box of stuff and I have never owned one of these. Would someone know what is the connection scheme for the three blades? Thanks.

Would be my GUESS, that if the pins are arranged so one is centered, it would be common, ground. You should be able to determine this with a meter--- Ron Rich

For Electrovoice, those were crappy cartridges.
The Internet is a marvelous thing, however it's not a good substitute for actually being there.

The EV-26 is quite good for it's day, but it's day was in 1958. It was the first stereo cartridge on the market in the U.S.A. It tracks at 5 grams and puts out about 0.5 volts.
