Rock-Ola 448 Selection Indicator Dark

Rockola 448 - Never had this happen before...when I push the record selection numbers, the numbers will not light up in the display window? The record plays fine, just the selection window is dark. Thanks for any assistance you can provide.

John,
I assume you are speaking of the "1st digit, 2nd digit" light and not the "selection now" display. If I am correct, check that no plug has worked loose, both #53 lamps are good, and that neither the 1 amp fast blow, or the 1 amp slow blow fuse, has "blown". If you wish to trouble shoot it further, purchase a copy of the trouble shooting guide, and you will find several pages of procedure-- Ron Rich

Thanks for the reply Ron. Yes, I am talking about the 1st digit & 2nd digit light display. The "selection now" display lights are fine. I will give a look at your ideas and will take another gander at the service manual.
