Other than using a cutting torch, is there any easy method to remove the old motor mounts from the motor, that someone is willing to share? The inner metal ring refuses to release from the point where the mount connects to the motor.

Darrell: When I replaced the mounts on my lpc1 we ren into the same problem. I used my dremel with a cutting tool on it to release the old band. Do not manhandle it(hammers torches etc). could possably damage the motor. I will call you later as well. Mark

I use my favorite solution, to almost anything, to do that --Di-no-Mite !
Short of that--two screwdrivers, and a lot of "prying"--sometimes, I also cut the ring with the Dremel-

I was afraid you would say that! 2 Dremmels' sounds like it is the way to go. Will try two scrtew drivers first, no not vodka & orange juice

Well the two screw drivers were useless. The dremel did the trick and I have both of them removed. No instuctions were included and it appears it does not matter which way the new motor mounts go back on, no top or bottom side to worry about. Tomorrow I may complete the installation of the kit. I expect the sound to improve dramatically.

Too "chicken" to use "Di-no-mite" ??
Couple of "hints"--Replace the motor plug, if hard, and the motor coupling--correctly !
Be sure worm thrust adjustment is correct, and the ball is oiled, with the "right stuff".

May use the Di-no-mite on the holes that the "Rubber Bumpers" fit into, unless you know some easy method to place the new bumpers back through the holes?

When you say "correctly", I hope you mean that you read my "Seeburg Mechanism Guide" before installing it--??
On the "bumpers---Just "push"--they fit tight, but can be forced in, with a little "spit" ( or "Windex")--- Be sure to install the E ring retainers on them-- Ron Rich
