Rockola Intrique not going into setup mode

Door open I hit scan switch 2 times and nothing.I push in the service button on cpu and nothing.
It's playing fine,but I wanted to set it up to play complete cds.
The service switch "is" in the middle position.
The player does nothing when scan/cancel button is pushed.That is,when no cd is playing.It does cancel when a cd is playing.
